STRETCHING AND TENSION RELIEF
A guided meditation is a relaxation technique in which the participant follows along with the voice of the guide, allowing the mind to respond, but, in most cases, keeping the body still.
This meditation is called a body awareness meditation or a body scan. Your mind will just follow along as the parts of the body are named.
Other guided meditations may be targeted for sleep or addressing trauma (iRest Yoga Nidra). There are many free apps that provide a guided meditation for whatever your needs are.
